Food Monster - Vegan Recipes App Reviews

This new vegan based recipe app is well designed and easy to navigate. Theres lots of recipes and you can pin them, bookmark them, etc. I like the functionality that allows you to search by a fruit or vegetable. Thats always useful when you need inspiration.

I too was very disappointed to see that One Green Planet chose to go with a subscription only model. Id rather have paid $2.99 or $3.99 or so, but sadly am deleting this app from OGP, whom I really appreciate in general. Sad choice, but I hope it works for them.

I am a huge fan of one green planet and was highly anticipating this app. Unfortunately This app has zero functionality unless you pay to subscribe. All you can see is the photos and ingredients. No where in the hype and promotion from OGP did they say this was how it was going to go down. They even let newsletter subscribers download the app before anyone else. So I had the privilege of being disappointed before most users. LOL! Uninstalled.

I LOVE the One Green Planet website and I thought this app would be awesome as well. It is not! I would have gladly paid for the app but I do not like to pay subscriptions. Too bad.

Awesome recipes but if you dont pay, the app looks nothing like the screen shots provided. With that being said, you can find all the recipes online for free so you can search them once you get the title of the recipe. However if you dont pay, its pretty worthless.

Was looking forward to this app for a while after following them on Instagram. So disappointed. Id be fine to pay a dollar or 2 for the app, but a subscription? No way. Its been useless ever since. Prob going to delete it soon.

The app crashes whenever I open it. I just downloaded it and I cant even view the content

I love the new update! The moment I started scrolling through the app for the first time, my stomach started to rumble...every recipe is SO beautiful!! Any food lover, vegan or not, will love this app and the amazing selections of recipes it offers. I would recommend this to anyone who wants an easy way to incorporate vegan meals into their everyday life...And have fun doing it!
